Whitley Central Intermediate
Elementary School

Whitely Central Intermediate School in Whitley County, Kentucky has received a great deal of recognition since its completion in 2003. It garnered a prestigious Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Kentucky chapter in 2004. The same year, it was recognized by the Kentuckiana Masonry Institute with the Concrete Masonry Award of Honor. A year later, it was selected by the National School Boards Association for inclusion in the 2005 Exhibition of School Architecture.
